hmm I spent over 3k on this game . I don't really see what the big fuss is about . I tossed that cash for varied reasons mostly cause I like the game. new content is great I just hope that the network code gets fixed so I can at least play it again

An online game cannot be a static, a static virtual world just dies, we should have had done this level cap increase a long time ago. We didn't because we didn't have the resources and in part because we where afraid of this kind of sentiments.

We won't let Regnum Die... Regnum needs to progress and the only way to do that is moving forward.

gaining XP after the level cap is a conceptual mistake.
this mistake is generating this problems now that brings this kind of problems now.

people who reach level 60 will not get more XP.

if people where playing against mobs after level 50 was to drop items... their extra XP was a sub product of this process.

I looked into the database and it's true (I can't believe this), some people bought boosters after level 50.
we will give those boosters bought after level 50 back to them to continue their leveling journey.


Again, there was a LEVEL CAP. you did not progress for killing more creatures.
No one is resetting anything.

I am not complaining that we have new weapons better than old ones, but I would like to be able to continue to use my current weapons and armor without having to level up.

I of all people do not want this game to be static or for this game to die.

Your response has served the purpose of this thread as it answers many questions that people have and have not voiced.

Granted all xp past lvl 50 was not supposed to be obtained, I have no more worries about xp lost (Means that xp legends on rankings was not valid)

Thank you for giving xp scrolls back to those of us that used them beyond level 50 in order to be able to keep our xp ranks.

Be glad the Devs are as lenient as they are and giving XP scrolls to the population with excessive XP amounts. If I were leading this development cycle, you wouldn't get jack squat, as I would not want long-time item grinders to have a head start over everyone else.

You are wrong... we had groups of people that would battle each other daily to see who could stay on the xp ladder and gain the most xp per day....

Then I am wrong. So that pretty much clean-slates the ranking for xp too. Folks losing their rankings and having to start that over again I can understand being a pain, but maybe some can look to it as a fresh start, and the rankings will change as people start to accrue XP again.

The xp rankings will no longer have any meaning at all. If xp isn't gained after level 60, everyone will eventually have the same exact amount.
