It's not that only 50 players could move. I assume that many more would like to move to Ra and I also assume that not a lot would want to move from Ra to EU. But that will be accounted if we get a complete list of who wants to do what.

What worries me is the fact that many of the players that are inactive can be left out of this process, even if we send a newsletter for giving them a heads up, many could lose their chance to state a decision before anything could happen.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess the process would takes months of preparation if it were to happen. Giving enough time to make sure they had a chance. Then to move the remaining to EU server after a deadline.

Hi Adrian,

I really appreciate your time spent in discussing this with Haven players.

My clanies are out of this discussion because their accounts are too new to post here, they say. But we all agree Ra fort wars suck, but hunting is awesome, so we want to move Ra.
The idea of individual requests to go Vanhalla from Ra after merge if we don't like it there is super nice.

I would probably stay Ra (if merge happens) and if my clanies don't want to move.
By the way my launcher shows Ra, Haven, Amun, how do I create account on Vanhalla to talk to people there to see how it is there ? Are there many players on Vanhalla ?

Let's suppose you were thinking about a potential merge, I think the spanish speaking side of your community should have the right to state their thoughts too first, especially when moving Ra players comes into consideration.
Don't rush it and ruin it now, a merge was proposed years ago already, what makes a few months more.

@Adrian I think you should enable "move to RA" by request as it was executed long ago when people wanted to move from RA to Horus. You should leave a big enough grace period for this action.

After this monitor Haven and Valhalla and if noyone really plays merge the databases and shutdown the servers.

Keeping players hostages to dead server will bring nothing good to the game. I bet keeping this servers brings only electricity bills and time for your staff to maintain them.

Edit: I played with 30 ping, 30! When the server was located in Europe, now I play with almost 200, almost x10 ping. No huge difference, still play fluently. Obviously, it's worse, but its not the big deal...

Well we keep writing here about that. This post already certain of pages. Writing won't help us. We must vote. Like Adrian said people who want play on low populated server can switch to valhalla but people who want play with a lot can go to ra. That means we close haven. And I know 90% of Haven will go to Ra because Valhalla has no future also. But if NgD rly wants to do something for the community then we do the server merge this year. No need to happen next week or so but this year is enough time to do all. But all this we can do just when people get informed. I know the active players from haven and Valhalla already watch on this post. The people who doesn't play taking a break etc i would place on ra. Because this is the server with future. But for all this we need the voting tree on the gm island @adrian.

The opinions from the german forum up until now are as follows (7 different users):

1. Merge Val+Ra, Val+Haven could turn out like the Muspell fusion back then.
   Or one international server with chat-tabs for each language, preferably one where most people have a good ping.
   
2. Merge Haven+Val, Ra is too full, too many plyers take the fun away.
   
3. No fusion, Germans fled to Ra because the german community is too toxic. Delete Val and let everyone still wanting to play the game join Ra.
   
4. Merge Val+Haven, a merge would encurage Haven and Val players to join back onto the server. Or make it possible to migrate from Ra back to Valhalla and delete Ra from the servers-list of german players.
   
5. A merge is pointless until a suitable publisher/server/balance for the game is found.
   
6. Same as above.
