I mean, I'm playing the game to right, I'm not just an observer, this isn't a misunderstanding, this is not having the same opinion on a subject hun.

I *LIKE IT BETTER NOW*, I'm not saying I'm right and your wrong, I'm merely presenting the other side. Clearly it sounds like you're having a hard time with this. I, am not. I simply feel challenged and am enjoying the game more now. Sometimes monsters do get the better of me, I agree. And I think that's how it should be, else whats the point in calling them monsters? The definition of a challenge for me means there must be a risk, previously there was no risk. If you were getting frequently killed by monsters before the patch, well, you need to seriously rethink some of your strategies...

I hope that cleared up the *misunderstanding*.

You have to plan your attack before-hand, making sure you have an escape route if necessary.
It takes a bit of getting used to, but in the end i like the challenge it present.

If you want to hunt alone, tred carefully and you'll manage.
I had to get me some "very hard" goblin shaman masters for a quest on goblin mountain. Instead of just barging up the hill, i stayed at the foot of the hill, carefully selecting my targets, being aware of all other mobs around me, so i notice when they get agro.
It wasn't even that very hard and i managed to get them without dying. And the thrill when doing so was excellent. Much less boring then when i was levelling my other char...

It's fun... We were all just spoiled...
So, so, true...

Trix smiles in agreement

I have no problem with them being agro again.

I also agree that having agro mobs can make the game more interesting and challenging.

But currently the agro mobs are too persistent.

8 or 10 mobs following you for such a long distance is simply too much.

you said it just how i feel

Like Trash I like the idea of the challenge from aggro mobs, I think its a necessary part of the game! From experience then it is possible, with some thought, to plan a route past them and it adds an edge to the play that would otherwise be lacking. We are provided here with an active environment that with a little thought adds so much even to PvP!

I love the idea that a cleverly organized hunting party can force an enemy into a mob infested area and take them down! Thats just smart hunting!

Moreover, a carefully planned escape route can draw an attacker through said areas and can throw them off the scent! This is all to the good!

All adds texture to life in the warzone and should stay! Instead of flatly writing it off think and you can use it to your advantage.

However, after all of the above, i will contradict myself slightly with a small qualification, from experience I feel there is some imbalance between the realms. I always have far more difficulty with mobs in alsius than in Syrtis or my native Ignis. For some reason there does appear to be more higher level Mobs (thinkin Orc captains or whatever, Great werewolves, Cyclops warriors) concentrated in fairly small area's. Players trying to level in Alsius, you have my sympathies.

On the whole though, the mobs should be challenging and aggro in Ignis and syrtis and even in Alsius, in my opinion should at most be tweaked!

I was in the exact same situation as klixon, a few days ago, and couldn't put it better myself. it's kinda lame to be able to sit next to friggin MONSTERS and rest, then stand up and go "hey, aincha a monstah!?!? AMMA KILLYA!!!~1"

It's much better to actually be afraid of monsters. Whats the point of having friggin ghosts, liches, dragons and not be scared of them? Why would anyone in their right mind think that going anywhere near a goddamn cyclop nest alone should be safe and easy?

I'm with trash and klixon on this one. Any change that makes the game system reflect better upon it's own reality and be more consistent should be welcome.

I agree, it's not EASY to do some stuff with so many monsters around. But why the hell SHOULD it be easy? What's next, complaining because the mobs attack, because in the end we would kill them?

NGD if you're reading this, please think twice before changing anything. Maybe it would be best if we made another topic about it? Maybe a poll? (I think I can guess what the outcome would be though.... :/)
