only evades

I didn't have the chance to join dragon raid on amun myself, but the instances seem better than the previous dragon placement, and they should solve the problem of bosswhoring low level alts and multirealmers.
However, there still remains the rudimentary problem of barb predominance.
As the raid is currently set up, I don't see why archers should even bother to plead for joining in. Simply barbs, conjurers and few knights for protective auras. Maybe one warlock (but I'm not sure whether locks debuffs will be much use, since knights have some nice ones too..)
Since I suspect, that drop system will still favour knights, I don't think the update is the "final solution" of any problem, but certainly an improvement.

best team for me would be 8 barbs 3 conjs 2 knights 1 warlock and 1 hunter (both with full debuffs) ofc since most players will be barbs, its more likely that a barb will drop but at least every1 has theoritically the same chance of dropping regardless of the class

If the current drop mechanics are applied, knights would have the highest drop chance, followed by conjurers (and barbs).
I'd rather have a team of nine barbs, two support knights with debuffs and four support conjurers.

I'm not sure how those spells work on the dragon, but you might be right. However, tenax used to resist a lot (so does daen). I'm not sure that this will change.
Even if the debuffs were as significant, archers would still only have a low chance of drop. So I don't expect many of them bothering to try..

good thing is most debuffs have low duration and cd so even if resisted u can recast them shortly but we agree on the 2nd topic archers+locks will be the minority of the 15 ppl and wont have many chances of droping

I would still think that the debuffs available to barbs and knights would easily suffice.. we will see with time

Yep, it seems, that archers and locks will be left behind. I would rather see the drop chance being equal to all members of the party, since low level characters were ruled out of the raid.

1st stage is like normal. Melee damage and ranged damage stays the same.
2nd stage : the dragon armour increases for both melee and ranged. An energy type bar appears and this must be reduced (by mana drains ) to make the dragon armour weaker.
3rd stage, the dragon armour hardens thus it gains resistance against melee attacks. However, it loses armour resistance to ranged attacks both magical and physical. These ranged attacks become very effective at this time.

Thus, all classes have their part to play in the defeat of the dragon.
That is an excellent idea, however, do you think after all we've seen since RO came out that they are capable of implementing something like this?

And how this will solve multirealmers and bosswhoring issue ?

I still belive this party will be very selective ,you know ... 1 lock ...3 conj etc ...others how will find enough barbs ,enough knights etc ? you know classes are not equal multiplayed over realms to do dragon ^^ ..it's Haven low populated server by time zone.

And belive me by time ,you will get rejected from a party too :"wee have a lock in our party ,wee have 5 more slots for barbs" ..etc
