I've not read this entire thread, so apologies if some has mentioned it and you've already responded!
Please God, Adrian, NGD, anyone who has the capacity, have some form of organised NGD feedback on problems/bugs/suggestions. The suggestions forum is currently a couple of dozen people saying what they think NGD should do, but agreeing that NGD wont ever do anything they suggest. A simple timeline of what will be fixed/introduced when would be awesome. The accountability might also force NGD to stick to the timeline as well. Clear and specific questions from NGD to the forum community about what we want fixed/introduced and how we want this to happen would also be a major plus. This would probably reduce the rate of exodus massively. This thread is basically what I'm asking you to do, just more widely. Until this thread I thought there was no hope for NGD, please keep up this style of work Adrian! Kudos!

Holy mother of NGD!
Since Adrain brought the changlog back to life, read the most recent change (1.10.3 2013/05/29): -New: The zones "Arvanna Valley" from Syrtis, "Volcanic Zone" from Ignis and "Snowy Plateau" from Alsius (old realm dragons locations) have been redesigned. New entrances have been added for the new Dungeons coming up soon. Dungeons. NGD, if this entrance is for more than just the dragons, the game just entered a new era of awesome. Please don't frack this up!

Glad to see clan rankings return! "I attack grinders from camo coz pr0" is doing well!
Also glad to see the return of the change log, this information is important to convey to the users and I'm sure we'll all appreciate that! Great job Adrian. |

Adrian, is there any chance that the game developers will do either (ideally both) of the following:
1) Talk to current players and develop the game the way the players think is best. 2) Allow current players to help with development, be it in terms of writing game lore, designing new quests, etc. I doubt any players who'd offer to do this would expect payment, you could possible offer a Xim reward for a solid piece of work but otherwise seeing your ideas coming to life would probably be sufficient. If NGD started allowing players to have some serious input into how the game will be developed there will be almost 100% player retention and players that are disenchanted with their current MMOs will flock towards CoR with the promise of a real feedback->dev loop. Go grab a coffee with one of the head honchos and pitch the idea and get them on the forum. The community will help you hash out the details!

We've been through this a lot of times. I just can't explain it any further. Managing community development is a HUGE task and an ENORMOUS responsibility. Sadly it's a no go. We tried it before and we couldn't cope or deliver. Please, let's avoid this topic and go back to the main purpose of this thread: polishing the website. Thank you!
