Strange sound volume problem

Hi, I've been having a problem with my game volume recently and I can't figure out how to change / fix it. The game sounds are very low and hard to hear, and if I look at the computers volume mixer, everything is maxed except that regnum has two slider bars; one translucent one at the top, and another opaque one that slides up and down slightly that seems to stay around 1/10th maximum volume. I haven't updated drivers, or changed any settings that I could think of that has caused this, so I'm not sure what I need to do to change it back. The problem has only been in Regnum, everything else seems to be working properly, if anyone can help?
