I don't think it will understand when you will say "Kill that monster" , or "run faster, faster ! they after you ! runnnnn ! , not this why you stupid barbarian ! there are golems there, they will kill you, Nooooooo !".

still, nothing beats the keyboard + mouse.

I don't expect you'd want to use Vista's speech recognition for anything you care about. Here's a short video of a presentation Microsoft did to show off speech recognition that went very poorly:
