Regnum map status on desktop

Here is a simple application to view the status of Regnum at any moment.

• Maybe i have writed some messages bad, you can change the labels by editing the file in "files/config.xml".
• To open the menu just right-click over the window or over the icon.
• The code is under GPL License.

PS: Important!!! Needed Java 1.6, here how to download it:

New: You can change language dynamically.
New: Now work fine with varios threads, the application will not frizzy anymore.
New: You can save the actual configuration (window position, server selected and language) by selecting: configuration -> save config.
New: The popupmenu have an option to create a script in $HOME/bin, linux user's only.
New: If you have the mouse pointer over a realm label then you will see the gems that it have. If it haven't got any gem then a skull will be shown :P
New: The popupmenu have an option to start timers, i think it will be useful to control invasions times. A timer for 30 minutes and other for 120 minutes (2 hours). If the timer is closed it continue running, if you select if again just it will be shown again. To terminate the timer then right click over the numbers and select "stop". If you select the timer in the popupmenu again it will reinitialize.

I wonder if it's possible to have a wallpaper image with this embedded that would update itself. The idea is to have it as a wallpaper, not as a separate application running.




Is it somehow possible?

uff... mmm... the only system that can change the wallpaper that i know is enlightment (a desktop for Unix based OS).

Also i dont know how to do it

I think you can do it with Devil's Pie

Try a rule something like this:

(if
    (matches (application_name) "<i don't know this but you can figure it out i think>")
    (begin
        (geometry "<width>x<height>")
        (center)
        (below)
        (skip_pager)
        (skip_tasklist)
        (undecorate)
        (pin)
    )
)

klixon, thanks, I already use devil's pie to run regnum on windowed mode yet on fullscreen resolution, undecorated so it;s exactly like fullscreen.

I thought about using it for this app too, and probably will actually, since devilspie loads in every session anyway

Well done.

I especially like the system tray notification.
