Character Creation

I am running Ubuntu 8>10. I have installed the game and so far, it has run and updated. However, when I try to create a character, it says "That name is not allowed" no mater what I type. When I type ANY letter, i get that message and it won't let me create my character. Is this a problem with Linux or the game? Can anyone help me please?

I think the only reason for not being allowed to select name, is that you're writing only one letter or the name is already being used. If you continue with the second, that window should dissapear.
May be you're doing any of that things?

The name must not contain only letter in uppercase and it must be longer than a certain amount of letters.

An example of an allowed name:
John Jordan

An example of a disallowed name:
JoHn j0rDaN

Also numbers are not allowed because it gives the game a better feal of realism than haveing players running round called Val23 and gigo97 or erm
