Here are the rules, post as many tracks as you like, you must provide the song in question hosted via public video site such as Youtube or similar site, no links through an advertising middleman page.

The songs must be about battle or something that reminds you of a battle in some place in regnum or the combat ability of your realm and such things. You must provide accurate lyrics as well.

Also, if you can give some background on the band, the music doesn't have to have lyrics or have english vocals, but if you can find the lyrics in english, you can post it in english and in native tung if you like.

I'll kick things off myself here with 4 tracks meant to inspire you for battle by 2 of my favorite bands, Iced Earth is a power metal meets thrash band thats been around since the 80's and has only gotten better over the years weather it's Matt Barlow or Tim "The Ripper" Owens doing the vocals they're still amazing.

Amon Amarth on the other hand is a Viking metal band with a melodic death metal sound, the 2 tracks I picked from them are from the same album and are in order as tracks 6 and 7 respectively.

I picked these because it seems too many of you are kids listening to sissified music, then you come on here complaining Ignis this, Alsius that, Syrtis hit me with a wiffle ball bat when it comes to war, get over it, play some good, inspirational battle music and get back to war.

Well they should start, the state of "music" these days is appalling, kids these days don' even have any variety, to them it's whatever horrid crap is spoon fed to them on a top 40's station. I personally listen to everything from DnB/Techno experimental stuff like Jackson and His Computer Band to the heaviest goregrind you can find like Dead Infection, at both ends you'd be hard pressed to find it anywhere.

This can help them out by giving them some exposure to at least some track that don't suck hard, not that theres not metal that doesn't suck donkey dangleys. I.E. Shining(emo death metal) Cradle Of Filth(please make the high pitch screech stop, my ear drums are bleeding and you've killed my dog)

I belive its more of stupid idols they look up to like drugbeat rappers that dropped out of highschool singing a song about having sex with someones mom while making excessive use of the word yo.

I would like to see some kind of big cache of everybody's favorite music. Looks like this could be it.

Here's some of my favorites for wars. Some of them sing about the virtues I see in my realmmates at their best, which make them true soldiers. (courage, leadership, skill, sacrifice, etc.) Others are just plain good and get the blood going for a tough fight. (Sorry they're all in Runescape - I have a thing for Runescape music videos)
