New to game

Hello, I am new to the game and am thinking about making an archer who will eventually be a marksman. I just have a few questions. Are marksmen looked down upon on this server at all/ are hunters a better choice for a newbie? When does it start to get hard to level/ become a grind fest. Thank you

Hi Poots,

Marksman are not looked down upon nearly as much as Hunters, but have still enjoyed their share of hate from other players due to seemingly overpowered skills and ranged damage. Archers in general are discouraged due to their already overwhelming numbers on every server.

It becomes hard to level around level 20 because of quests running out, but depending on your realm you will still have some quests occasionally after that, all the way up to level 40, but you cannot level exclusively on quests. It doesn't quite become a grindfest until around level 30, but by then you can play in the warzone. The high 30s and 40s are notoriously difficult, boring and time-consuming.
