Arrow Gem lucky box prices are .... un peu crazy n'est-ce pas?

I will keep this short cause it is really a no-comments thing:

Gem gold box: "chances of getting a great gem are low" - price: 12,000 xim
Side info: we know that major CS gems can be 3% 4% or 5%

So basically i am paying 12,000 xims, and for all i know, i might get a 3% CS gem - and chances of 6% and 7% are "low"
-------------------------------------------------------------------
After two years i now have a magnanite staff - what would you do if you were me? would you choose to be ripped off ^ (and possibly end up with nothing in hand other than your manhood) or wait forever for an impossible drop?

I am one of the lucky sods who got a 3% AS gem from a Gold Gem Box, so 12k Xim, 3% AS, 4k xim per 1%, totaly a worthwhile price...

The items I had to give him in exchange for that gem are not your everyday items.
You can however 'trade' the item and if necessary the gold to embed gem to another player, then trade the item WITH xim gem back.

You must however really trust that player to give back said item, say a mag staff. The power of a good clan again shows itself

Edit: As I think about this one, I sure hope that's legal, and NGD doesn't apply the ban hammer.

yes i agree. most ppl trade gems this way. as i have said you gotta be best friends or trust each other. otherwise, one of them may not give the item back. you see, it's restricted between friends only. just think of the two person who does the trade as members of the same family. i dont see any illegal element in this type of "trade".

Im glad the chanes are so low, its a really major deal to have 7% bonus.

and whats wrong with working for an item? I dont think they shoulda ever added it in the first place. just sucks to be able to get the very best equip with zero effort.

impossible drop? i've dropped 2 great cs gems, and paid nothing. it just takes some time and patience.

I was stupid enough to try one of those 12k xim lucky boxes and I got a 3% CS gem. W00t. Never gonna buy such a thing again.

Well not everybody is that lucky :/ I've never ever dropped a gem higher than "Minor", but I've got dozens of those.
And it's not like I haven't been grinding either

Yea, and if you are a female, you won't get even that...

Be back when: 1. Selection system is fixed/rebuilt. 2. Phantom swings are gone.
