This is going way to far.
1st off, in one of the rooms I rent in my condo there lives a awesome dude from Iran. He is a great dude we party and have a great time. We even eat bacon together to show how pointless observent Religion is. I'm a atheist Jew myself. I can attest this is complete Bullshit and untrue. This goes for Scotland to, they are to busy hating on england to care about Iranians anyway.
Iran warns citizens of dangerous Canada OTTAWA — Iran is warning its citizens not to come to Canada out of fear of widespread Islamophobia sweeping the country. A story posted on the website of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting news agency states the foreign ministry in Iran issued the warning earlier this week. The agency claims crime rates in Canada have soared recently and Iranian nationals may fall victim to this new crime spree. The government of Iran is warning its citizens to take extra precautions if they visit Canada. The Iranian government also claims Muslims in Canada are being denied “social and political rights” and police are not following up on complaints filed by Iranians in this country. In addition to warning citizens to stay away from Canada, the government of Iran also recently warned its people to stay away from France, also citing Islamophobia there. |

As a person who has spent a fair amount of time in Canadian immigration offices, I have to say; I'm surprised this didn't get said sooner.
There is a fear of Middle Easterners in the west (yes, in Canada, too), and it pisses me off.

Hérouxville received international attention in January 2007 when its town council passed controversial measures concerning practices which the residents deemed unsuitable for life in Herouxville for potential new immigrants, despite the fact that the town has no immigrant population. Herouxville has a small population of 1,338 residents who are entirely White, francophone, and nominally Catholic. Other rural communities in the region of Mékinac are also considering similar codes, despite featuring few or no immigrants at all. The mayor and the municipal council approved a code of behavior for immigrants in the context of the recent debate on reasonable accommodation in Quebec. The motion explains many practices the council considers "normal" in Quebec to immigrants who may settle in Herouxville. These standards also state that carrying a weapon to school (even if symbolic), covering one's face, and accommodation of prayer in school will not be permitted. The document, drafted by the council members, states that stoning women or burning them alive is prohibited, as is female genital cutting. It attests that "Our people eat to nourish the body, not the soul", and that health-care professionals "do not have to ask permission to perform blood transfusions." The purpose behind why such serious measures were deemed necessary has raised serious debate concerning immigration in Quebec. |
