High ping connection issues

Ever since the new hotfix my ping skyrockets to 50k and packet loss of up to 70% Anyone else getting that?

Yes, every night. My ping goes crazy and I lag, get killed by mobs and players, chat stops responding... Right now, for example, I have a 24k ping! It's usually around 90. This happens every night, usually around the same time (midnight GMT throughout the early hours), although I sometimes get it during the daytime, too.

Sometimes I lose connection altogether and the games kicks me out. When this happens I have problems logging in due to a problem connecting to the autopatch server. When that is finally resolved, I sometimes can't get past the character selection screen because my character is in the world.

That raises another issue... If the game knows I'm not logged in and so lets me get as far as the character selection screen, how can my character possibly be in the world?

None of the above is due to my internet connection either, as I can download things, view websites and everything else perfectly well. It's just Regnum that suffers any problems.

EDIT: I also have very serious problems accessing this forum. Without exaggerating, I can load a page or two and then get over 30 timeouts over 10 minutes without a single page being loaded. I just have to keep trying until it works, which it does eventually. Still, it shouldn't take me 20 minutes to read a 2-page thread!

Everyone I know is getting it, there seems to be some kind of problem with the server for the last week.

Since yesterday, the game freezes every minute for some seconds. At the end of the "freeze", I have sometimes bad "average" ping like 3-4k or more, sometimes a "connection problem"., and the game returns to normal, with avg pings going down to <100 for 50-60 new seconds before next freeze.

It's unplayable.

So : Is it just me ?, and is there something to do ?
