30sec extra waiting time under shader model 2.0 - Windows Vista(?)
Here's a video I made a year ago that shows when it happens and how long it takes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39CCc...tailpage#t=14s And here's a screenshot of the "blank" screen: If I click on the window it will say that the program is unresponsive but starts working properly after a few secs of waiting. EDIT: I got two configurations files, on one of them, that I manually edited, it doesn't seem to happen on shader model 2. On a normal configuration file it does. So, wtf. >.> EDIT2: Here is the line that causes this: Code:
vg_preload_shaders = 1 Oh well, at least now I can start the game fast again.
