Silence fails you sometimes...

How come this happend? I clearly casted silence before my enemy did? But instead of him being dizzy I was? Did my silence just backfire on me lol?

Maybe he/she had beacon effect resist and MoD running that didnt show?

it's like UFOs in real life man. unexplained. wierd things happen in game too. ive had more than a dozen of silence failures and it's not due to cc stack feature or lag. simply ppl cast something after i silence them...it happens and i can't explain why either. it definitely is not beacon man. it happens in pvp alot i know what you are talking about, lightningg

Server communication, lags etc stuff. Sometimes you can resist CC effect only, but spell to land successfully. RO is full of surprises.

Oh wait, you overlap it on meteor dizzy right?

I was always wondering, does it actually work for you as expected? As for stun it doesnt. Since some update, when you cast a stun, break it with a normal a bit before it ends and cast another stun, the 2nd stun ends once the first stun was supposed to end.

Like this:

                                          ^ <- stun ends

Havent tested if its just with some lvl combinations. Could well imagine its the same with dizzy effects. Then the silence on that screen mightve not worked.

yh ive noticed that, i was at the arena and this lock casted silence right after another spell, cant remember wich :P, and it said success however i was able to cast, we tried another 2 times with the same result, weird...

He was on beacons, that's why silence dosen't had any effect.

No certaintly not, I killed this guy like 3 times in a row and he came back with a low lvl hunter for his 4th round I probabbly would have won if silence wasn't bugged,

I was hunting very near to the syrtis cs and I am 100% sure that there was no-one else there just this lock and hunter and im sure he didn't use MoD or something cause he didn't use it in the previous fights aswell

Well then its probably the problem with overlapping cc of same effect. Try to time it perfectly or add a filler.
