Hey all

Ofcourse.. Ive been playing this weekend non-stop again (addict )
Its surprising how many green archers clap...

Me and my friends couldnt figure it out, we got stuck at two possibilities, and one seems strange...

So opinions plz: Why do they(you) clap?


I usually just clap back when they are dead..
I dont use clap a lot, I like the kiss emoticon better

I clap when I'm zerged. Low profile and clap, means that: "Bravo, you can get me zerging only"

The strangest part is when someone claps back when they kill me :S
That's what I can't understand really

Of course if i have time, clap only in one case - when i got Zerged while i'm on grind ))

This happends alot to me to.

Sometime's I didnt even clap myself, somebody explain.
Does it have something to do with ego boosting?

It is rare for me to use clap, when i use it is when enemie in 1vs1 (x vs x) runs
away instead off having a nice fight. Imo in a 1vs1 you never know whats gonna
happen, sure some classes have harder against other classes but its never
impossible to win.

Usually when gank group surronds me i try to make it as hard for them as
possible to kill me so i tell myself they clap after due to that i put up a deacent
fight instead off just trying to run (impossible to run anyway as a knight). Or
they are just trolling me, i really dont know.

I wondered that too. A friend of mine told me, that when some one claps after you loose means it was a nice fight.
It may be true, although I usually do reverence/kneel.

When some one claps before he dies, yeah like one said..."Wow, you are VERY good at ganking".

I usually clap to ppl who gank me while i grind again and again and again. Sure kill me get your count up for the quest, but leave me to grind. I will come no matter how many times you do this. It is just annoying for me and boring for you.

I clap or bow if someone fights good no matter me or he loose.

It absolutely hilarious when gankers that cant fight for shit, clap after they hotw gank you.
I think its mostly to taunt, but im sometimes unsure if some actually mean it as positive feedback. I doubt that.

Either way i find it funny more than annoying, so please keep it up.

I never clap, I do occasionally greet people that clap instead of fighting back with a teabag. It is kind of childish, but they most likely are already provoked, since they clapped. So I assume at least some will get really worked up by it.

Then you also have they once logging on to their realm alts, to “discuss” things.
Haha, nothing in game gives more enjoyment than that.

Yep, this topic is here again.

There are two types of people that use this emoticon.
1) Clapping means that the person liked the fight (kind of reverence)
2) The person is genuinely amused by your noobnes (kinda "clap, clap, I liked this circus")

It is difficult to distinguish between those two types, but when I clap, it's usualy because of zerg, noobs that treehug or kick5 feint5 knights that think they're pro.
