Screen Shot Manager broken

Hi,

I'm still having issue with your screenshot manager since two hotfix now I think.
This is confirmed by some friends.

Example of screenshot :

Tiger GrrRRr ~ grep -i screenshot regnum/game.cfg 
vg_screenshot_format = jpg
vg_screenshot_quality = 100

Sometimes it's just all black almost.

Cant get enough of the "You have defeated "x" player while you were dancing on him eh?

I dont even remember when i last even bothered making a screenshot and there are way more important things to be fixed first .

Well, such feature was working since years, i don't see why they shouldn't fix what they just broke.
If the feature is there, it has to work, or then it is much better to remove it (and do an announce about that).

I really don't get why people here think because they don't use a feature it has no importance for others.

Screenshots are extremely helpful tools for
1) Reporting cheaters/buggers/exploiters
2) Reporting bugs or glitches
3) Proving flaws in-game (geographical or combat)

I think we should start to report things that actually work as they should in fact, all other is broken as it is now....
Less work for us.

We'd need a new forum thread "Things that still work properly in RO" instead of all the bug reports .

I didnt say it shouldnt be fixed, just wanted to point out that there are more important bugs/features etc. that should be "fixed" first, guess you also know which these are...

It all depends on the situation and how desperate you are for the balance IMO If they can fix this one fast and easy, then they should go ahead, but some people may want the balance ASAP, and wouldn't like the next hotfix to be a fix on this and not balance. If it will take a while, then maybe not. NGD shouldn't make this one a priority over imbalance and game-breaking bugs .

No one on this thread has confirmed the bug so far. I personally don't play RO on weekdays, as it requires quite a chunk of time to actually achieve anything in the game, so I haven't come across the bug yet. Screenshots were fine on the previous hotfix for me. (Windows 7)

Some examples more how my screenshots get bugged;

Because of this bug, 1/4 of my screenshots are useless. Every time I have to take screenshot, I take 3-4 because at least one gets bugged. It is hard, as example if you are screenshotting someone who is cheating, you might have only few secs for that. Then you got nothing if your screenshot turns out like this(especially see sdeOC.jpg)...

Happens on both my linux main computer and windows laptop, using opengl. I use alt + s to take screenshot.

This has been broken for me at least since April 21th. Found my oldest bugged screenshot and it was taken this day.

Yeah I got rotated too sometimes.
