Direct3d = OpenGL ???

2 days ago I played ro last time,today I seen new launcher and I was like WOW I LIKE IT .. but that was just for short time because when I try to enter game I get Direct3d renderer eror but .. there is also but , ok this is cuz b4 I got this msg also but I could play under openGL now there is no more OpenGL option.

so is there anyone who can help with this ?
and why is openGL option remowed ?

According to Surak (one of the developers) they disabled OpenGL mode in Windows to "make their life easier" - however he said that you still can enable it by editing the Windows registry.
You have to look for the RegnumOnline stuff there and add the key 'ForceRenderizer' with the value 'opengl' - look here: http://www.championsofregnum.com/for...8&postcount=14

But it seems that there are some further problems because everybody who tried this replied there that it was not working and Surak is not replying any more. I can't test it because I don't have Windows

I have partially the same problem, for me it is so that I cannot see floating text (like names when pressing V) which makes the game unplayable. I have been trying to solve it the way Surak presented but it doesn't work (for some reasons some of the folders he mentions are missing, the "NGD studios" one for example). So for me the game is over for now as well :/
