how to change port?

hello i asked in my last post how to change my port because i had problems connecting how do i do so and will it effect anything on my computer e.g. internet used programmes

Hello Kriss,

Unfortunately, the ports used by the servers are fixed, so changing them will only result in failure to connect.
Could you specify which programs are using the same ports as Regnum Online? So we could include this on troubleshooting, thank you.

I am not really an expert with ports here lol i dont even know wat ports are can you tell me a bit about them so i can see what is the problem

also my security is Zone Labs

can u make it a bit simple because i have problems understanding also and can you tell me how to check up on ports please
