Default Barbarians PvP

I would be interested to know your opinion about it.

From the shorts PvP I did in arena & warzone I just find it pathetic, it is just Roar & knock down ...
Add to this that the roar range etc is related to the lag between players..

... okay Tiger, let it out. Who killed you this time?

Seriously though, I find warrior pvp's the most fun. As in 1 vs 1, knight vs barb or knight vs knight, barb vs barb is always fun to watch for me. If they're equally geared I mean.

i must agree, that so far pvps when i play my barb or knight are most fun. About roar/kick fest... Agreed with tiger. But it's even more fun to see roar 5 kick 5 sc 5 monkey wasting it on def support lol.

If UM is enabled it's only a matter of DPS.

Boring imo.

I completely agree with Tigerious in this issue.

While I usually prefer PvP between two players of the same class, I don't enjoy Barb v Barb. Every PvP I've had, it's just a competition of making the other guy buff with UM first so I can knock/roar them first. When I fight MS barbs, most of them just freeze up/run away when their MS fails lol. Other fights just end up being a competition of who can hit the hardest (who has the best gear) and who gets the most hits in (who gets the least pos lag).

Winning a barb PvP feels unsatisfying for me, and losing doesn't make me feel like I've been bested. Unrewarding experience either way.

Barbarian versus barbarian PvP matches can be over in matter of seconds, this is just the nature of the class - knight versus knight matches can last up to an hour if resting in PB is allowed.
However, knight versus barbarian is quite interesting to watch.

Barb on Barb is indeed quite lame, it can be more interesting with some fancy footwork or more interesting setups. But more often than not its a mix of roar + rest and knock + attack.

But really, I think all classes suffer from this when fighting the same class and trying to do pretty much the same thing with the same set of spells.
