Lower levels do have Gohos though once they get to 18. He's a fair challenge, and a 40 can just about solo him.

I don't think that Gohos gets as much remembered like Tankabon.
After level 10 most players quit before even reaching that quest or just pass it by.

I know this is probably getting a little off topic, but I feel the same way about Lich Barakaun, Spider Queen, etc..

By time you get to kill Gohos, the majority of the players are in a clan and can just ask for help from a high level conjurer. NGD should require these harder creatures to be taken with groups consisting of members within that level range. For example... the quest should read, "Gather at least 4 of your closest friends and head out to kill [creature]," and you only receive credit if all 5 members are at a level where they can still get XP from the creature.

As I typed the previous paragraph, I decided I needed to comment on a flaw in my plan. For Ignis, this will never work. I recently created a new toon, and in the 3 days I spent in the WZ (I didn't like my name and started over) I saw two people, and one of them was Hamster of Sorrow who got bored and decided to see how much damage he could do on lvl 1 mobs.

Thats the serious problem nowadays that champions and inner zone legendary bosses are almost unused.

I still remember times that after killing the Alasthor all rushed Aysor for a kill with a scream "who is the last one there is a gelf"

Guess that some quests regarding the champions would be nice since they have now peaceful and calm life since you cant drop and loot from unchallanging mob. (yes its cause realm tasks but why nerf the bosses WHY?)

There is one problem that made them do so. Lack of new players. Four-five years ago there was no problem to complete party of newbies and kill a boss mob like Tankabon or Thorg (or what the name of that Alsius orc is). Now there is almost no new players and the only new toons are made by multis. Now a newbie players would have to beg others to come and help them kill such mobs.

actually the biggest problem of inner bosses unnused is the problem that you can no longer drop anything off them
Champions/legendary/epic or whatever those bosses are named should drop their items
no matter the lvl

(also a lv 60 should be able to drop of Thorkul/Evendim/Dean Rha)

I dont want to make a speciall character to camp a boss because I have to
if I want to be able to have a shot at a drop

The inner bosses used to be a big part of my weekends, we always had a few who were willing to take on
Aysor, Ades and sometimes Gorlak the bird too
Now its not even worth to do that anymore

Tankabon was a bit of a bastard to kill, specially when sometimes he would teleport back and forth or worse when he used to get stuck. Then you wouldn't see him for days and noobies would ask on realm where he was so they could kill him. I guess people don't bother with the inner bosses now as they could straight grind without them maybe. "Nostalgia is a seductive liar"
