NGD put in place a system so one couldn't use proxies to game the currency system to get a small discount. By doing this they make it much more difficult to gift xim. They are losing out on many, many transactions so that someone doesn't game the system? Considering all the times I have heard of people not being able to gift xim I'm thinking ngd is actually losing quite a bit of money on this.
