A realistic answer: Go by your instincts, don't ask anyone, don't look at any realm info/status/players/etc. Because one addition to any realm won't change anything, one more Syrtis won't increase their strength nor one more Ignis/Alsius would increase their defense.

As for the user/pass thing, you cannot change username but you can change pass. So before you jump into anything, make sure to provide a proper user/pass and also make sure to put a proper name in the account info, so if anything goes wrong in future like lost account/pass/etc, NGD will ask for your user data to assist in support.

It is not a compulsion to have a clan. Just follow

In my opinion, try them all. See how well you gel with the community in each one. I believe Ignis is the underdog at the moment, but thankfully the Nemon merge seemed to have helped balance things slightly, so it's not always bad. But don't go by that. Once you pick a character, you will be unable to move them to a different realm, so choose wisely.
