Installation problem

Okay, so i downloaded both 64bit and 32 bit linux versions of regnom online installer, and when i double click and try to install them, i get nothing. it says that there is no application installed for the file type. help! what do I do?

never mind, friend helped. the file was 'by default' set to non executeable. just had to use command chmod a+x <directory of file> to make it executeable.
