Hello, I'm a new player to Regnum Online. Been playing for a couple of days now, and so far I'm loving this game!
I'm on Horus server, Ignis faction, and my first (and for now, only) char is a Dark Elf Mage (not yet lvl 10 for a sub-class).

I've played many online games, because I love MMORPGs. I usually try to avoid F2P games which have cash shops (which happens to be most F2P MMOs) because I don't like the always-present "pay-to-win" where people who spend a lot of money in the shop get a great advantage over other players in the game.
I was surprised when I saw how modest the shop in this game is, using it would greatly help players but wouldn't lead to unbalanced gameplay. I salute the game developers for this!

My char is called Darkfall, if any other new players (or anyone) wants they're more than welcome to add me in-game.

NGD (the developers of Regnum) has several times clearly stated that they do not wish for premium items to affect the outcome of the fights in WZ (War Zone). This statement, of course, involves a small grey zone, since banners, more level 50 players due to boosters, better items achieved from lucky boxes etc. will have some small impact of the outcome of war. But that impact is, according to me at least, negligible and I agree to your salute

Welcome to the game Darkfall! Glad to see another player joining Ignis. We are very good at tactical combat. Unlike Alsius we do not camp outside of the spawn.
