Windows XP or Jaunty Ubuntu
Wondering which one has the fastest load times (sometimes I crash cause of my connection so I need a fast load time so I can get back to the battle) also I don't care for the Direct3D it lags like crap and looks rough around the edges. (thanks for reading and sorry if this is in the wrong section).

From my experience Linux has way faster loading times.
Usually, when I crash I am back to the character selection screen way before my character gets kicked from the server, which is not the case for my friend using Windows XP.

Ubuntu 9.04 really go fast, I should compare it with WIN 7 rather than WIN xp
In my case jumpìng to Regnum client in Linux the game run smother. The expected 9.10 they say it would go a bit faster on new ext4 hard disk format. |
