Auto-signing of karma

There is a trend recently on the forums to sign bad karma with someone else's name. I don't think this should be possible, as it creates friction between two people with relative ease.

Perhaps signing of karma should be automatic?

It depends, if someone gives ared karma for w/e reason if that players identity is known they would be able to instantly return the red karma to that player, unless some sort of buffer period was introduced, eg if you get red karma from examplename then you cant give examplename red karma untill you gain X ammount of greens?

Better than returning it to the wrong person anyway, which I am guilty of.

You could report it to NGD. They can find out who did it.

I wouldn't want to burden them with such minor things when the game needs work.

Anonymous karma doesn't bother me (I have yet to give out red karma, but I sometimes don't sign my positive karma if it's just something like '+1' or 'lol').

I don't think it should be possible to sign (any) karma with someone else's id.

Easiest way would probably be auto-sign, but there could be an option:

It means the first to give red karma is given credit even if he gave it for a bad or a futile reason. I believe the best option is GythaOgg's one.
I have only one bad karma point and it's signed, don't know if i would have give him a bad one too in return if i knew karma points exist before he got banned.

Thing is, the boards are powered by code not written by NGD -
