It's not your fault, Phers. You guessed about right. Something went very wrong (long ago), stayed wrong & slowly but surely, the english forums here became a playground, & not much else. To be specific, we have long felt & known that NGD wasn't listening to us, or if they were, they didn't care, or if they did, they didn't understand, or if they could, they still were NEVER doing hardly any of the many MUCH-needed things we repeatedly asked them about.

Since there's only a limited number of ways to ask the same exact questions or insist on specific fixes/changes, the english forum became essentially like a riverbed in the desert: early on, it thrived deep & wide at the mountains, yet petered out relentlessly over the distance, then dried up completely in the unforgiving hot sands & winds. Which is to say, community said our piece related to this game, over & over, nothing ever seemed to come of it, so most eventually gave up or moved on & now, very few english-language threads get started here anymore on serious topics. It's mostly already been said ... & alot!

I guess one could say, many of the reply-posts to the FEW new threads getting posted now are like a kind of ongoing defiance of this inescapable truth as we try to keep these english-forums on 'life-support' & yet, at the same time, we collectively tend to lose no opportunity to strongly, constantly & consistently point this uncomfortable truth & our (mostly resigned) bitter frustration out to NGD & the community ... thru 'competitive' silliness, angry wit, sarcasm & satire. It's all that's left to us here now. What I mean is: often the utter pointlessness of a post really IS the entire point trying to be made....
