Short answers:
Stop horsing relics. Fix bugged relics. The second one should be on any to do list anyway.

Throw out gem sink idea. That one is unnecessary.

Make a gold sink so that at least there is an alternate way to open the instances for realms unable to do so the conventional way on a regular or semi regular way.
We can upgrade forts and castles yes? That is a gold sink that is already deployed and proven. For the instance sink, they need not apply anything but unlock the instance (for a time) once the target gold amount is reached. Offer it one or two times per week.

What is so complicated about that ?

lol @ kmdk who complains once the horse is out the stable. At least I bring ideas consistently to the table despite my complaining. They may not work, they may not be deployed but at least a seed is placed in the mind of the staffers of NGD for their meetings. For me, planting those seeds are starting to bear fruit.

Anyway i still believe this mechanics are too complex.
Anyone have a vision and a fantasy ,this is a fantasy game ,but you know some features that are hard to understand by a user ,will just drop to others simply.

In my vision TDM is a nice feature but shall be in a separate server.To avoid kill of RvR in real time.
Instance of dragon are nice to ,but you know everything is about mechanics ,make them simply and useful.

And yes @bois i complaint more that you and make less suggestion,maybe my suggestion have less consistency ,to be honest that island for noob zone is a waste of time ,i have nothing anti that feature but you know what is missing ? : that same think as in dragon instances : how to do ,from where know a new player that can go there ,how will find new incomers all time if in Haven have low population ,it will fit better Ra ,but will have not much use for Haven.

I will not make any suggestion about just because this is the final test and soon game will go on live server as it is.

Most of the mechanics I just described actually are not required for the user to know intimately. Most of them are in the background and work as a way to avoid excessive feedback loops that may cause imbalances. Besides, the discussion of invasion is made totally invalid if NGD chooses not to add availability of dragon instances as a reward wish.

The gold sink is pretty simplistic and offers a way to reduce the perception of imbalance of availability based on a realm's current weakness or strength. Plus it helps soak up excess liquidity which is good for the economy.

I don't disagree with your last statement at all. There should be a preliminary change log with all these line items and a short description of the mechanics. That is a must but, NGD does have a history of being economical with information.
Also, I strongly agree that Squid Island is probably in the wrong zone and at the wrong levels. I can only assume that NGD reviewed its data and decided that the biggest player loss is level 1 to 15.
Somehow I think that if a player is going to drop out during the first 10 levels they were not going to make it anyway. And when I mean make it, get to a level where NGD can potentially extract revenue.
Thus, I think the best place is more like 15-30 (20-35?). Maybe the data does not support this.
Time will tell. However, I am strongly advocating level 15 to level 30 or 20 to 35 for squid island. I am thinking it can be monetized a bit easier at that level too. I still assume NGD wants to make money from it.

Still wondering why they make posts like these... At the end, just "some" bugs reported on these threads are fixed, but they do whatever they want without paying attention to what was said here. Bet you all they will almost "literaly" update all their server to the current amun server condition And I´m not being negative at all but realistic. 5 years playing (not that much, I know) have taught me a lot That´s why I don´t really like to talk about this. Anyway, I´m almost sure Frosk or anyone else is gonna erase my post

hi

Whats the role of archers with the new dragon raid? are they again pointless like before? and people dont even invite archers in the party because they have no dmg no auras no heals...

This is actually a very good and serious question. Considering that it looks like it is going to need maybe 9 barbarians to get past the recovery levels that the dragon has when it hits ~30% HP, Archers could be left out in the cold and even if they group together and form mainly archer parties ( the leftovers), it may be quite difficult to overcome the dragon due to not enough DPS.

I don't think archers are useless in there but it may be a case that they are simply not efficient enough DPS dealers or debuffers to be considered highly for spots in party. Even Mr Lucky Luke may find himself struggling for a pick.

One other thing is still not clarified . Will the dragon quest be abolished? It is not like level 50's are going to get a great chance to party and even if all 50's party and go in, will they be able to kill it? Will there be level bracketed instances to cater for level 50's or will the dragon be a level 60 affair?

No they aren't useless. Archers are still fully capable of buying a level 60 scroll and making a barbarian.

Not in Syrtis they arent. I have come to the sad but real conclusion that post level 40 Barbarian gear in Syrtis is near impossible to obtain without having 2000+ magna immediately available. New barbs in Syrtis can no longer equip beyond what the merchants sell. Also, you only see archer gear in the commerce channel.

Not entirely true, I fully geared my lvl 60 barb with 3 ingots (2 ingots spent on gems, 1 on armor and weapons) and my barb is considered one of the most overpowered on haven.
I can't speak for the recent weeks of the commerce channel, but I got my gear relatively cheap a couple months ago.(500 or so mags excluding gems)
I do agree however that most people are greedy with their gear and try to make massive profits from their items instead of helping each other out with win/win trades.
