Where is your corroborating evidence in the bible that god has visited us. The bible is the work of man, re-written and translated again and again by man. Lets take etymology of a phrase for example. In the 60s you could say, "im going to lick you good", taken to mean im going to kick your ass. If you say the same thing now, a mere 50 years later, some thinks you are into some kinky gay stuff Even using the New Testament as an example, 2000 years is a VERY long time when it comes to evolving languages, and the style in which many of them are written are purely metaphorical, not to mention NOT ENGLISH NATIVE, who knows what political agenda the various translators have had, or what spin was put on it, intentional or not.

Taken as a collection of proverbs i will indeed say that the bible has some value, but as a concrete chronology of the world since the dawn of the time, one has no choice but to deny it. It is contradictory to say the least. How many versions are there? How many branches for christianity are there? How many religious institutions take the EXACT same passage from the bible and preach from it mutually exclusive opinions.

Just to bring up some hot button religion related issues......Abortion? There is nothing in the bible to endorse so called 'pro-life' position and in fact many passages where 'god' ordered his followers to kill pregnant women so that the sons of his enemies would not be born. Very similar for homosexuality, nothing explicitly says its a sin, nor even comes close, it was all about the buttsechs

In the end, you have no reliable, verifiable evidence that holy or unholy beings are or have walked among us. I cannot say that i have any proof either of aliens, but there are far more alleged alien visitations than there are alleged angel visitations; who is to say that they are not mutually exclusive anyways.

There are so many distorted, confused assumptions about the Bible in this post, I dont even know where to begin unraveling them. Or if I should take the time.

For life as we know it to exist you would need a planet with a atmosphear with the correct balance of gasses, a sun near enough to provide warmth but not close enough to cook the planet or far enough to freeze it, you would need (possibly the most basic large life chemical) chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants that creates energy from light, this is the way most energy comes to earth, everything natural you eat from carrots to pork got its energy in this way if you work down the foodchain. It would also need 1000 other things that most of us wouldent understand.

But, even if the odds of all these things being present are a trillion to 1, it still happened on Earth and if it can happen here, then on 1 of the countless planets in countless solar systems and god knows how many galaxys, there is almost certainly life,

If you run Y/N programm with the chance of Y at 0.0000000000001% you will, eventually, get that Y

But even then, the chances of said life forms being capable of intersteller travel are slim, slimmer still are the chances they would find us, and thats if they are sentiant at all.

Even a singled cell organism on a planet a billion light years away counts as life.

There is also of cource a 0.000000000000001% chance that God could well be real, as in god being a all creator, but its more likely that this god is an alien and we are some sort of test in a lab, than it being an all powerfull being that has existed forever will exist forever has no physical presence is everywere and can effect the world around it.

ftr, i have found a 10mag rock at least once, maybe twice. And the game is programmed so that one CANNOT have 2 characters from the same acct online simultaneously. This is impossible according to NGD.

But it happened to me one time. I would conclude that the probability is very slim, very slim indeed, but still possible. And the probability of this happening to me is still far greater than the possibility of life on other planets.

I will allow this concession.... I don't think the Bible specifies that there ISN'T a populated planet somewhere else in the universe, it only deals with the one here.

I do believe that, if there are "beings" out in space somewhere, then they are probably angels/demons. Any other assumption comes from Hollywood.... and we know how right THEY always are, don't we? lol

How can you possibly know that one is more likely than the other, I for one have never found a 10 mag rock, and have never heard of anyone else doing so either, so its easy to assume that if this bug exists as you claim (screenshot?) then the chances are indeed slim.

But if you have found 2 in the space of a year then...

Aliens and what not are not all hollywood, there are after all dipictions of "flying craft" and "men from the stars" in cave paintings etc, these may well be a hoax and are even less likely to be based on real events but it does show that people wondering if we are alone, and telling storys about if we are not, have been around for thousands of years.

If there are Angels/Demons on other Planets then that does tecnically make them Aliens

Even if said Aliens have halos or horns or whatever, If they are not of this Earth then there are 2 possibilitys on there creation.

1, They Evolved on their homeplanet over millions of years
2, They were created by God and placed there

Either of these still puts them under the "Alien" catagory.

Another thing, If god created all life, why only Earth? Maybe Its not only Earth maybe there are others and he sent a 'son' to each. Thus founding his religion on all planets, It is after all strange that he would create all of existance, countless planets, and then choose to bless only one with life.

And whos knows maybe Aliens are among us, if the Human form is the current "Perfect" evolution for this planet then if a planet exists under similer conditions to earth (trillions out there odds are one is) its Possible that they would evolve into the same form as us, and I mean come on...

I dont see how anyone can beleive in a Religion so truely when there are so many plainly bogus ones around, Eg, Mormonism, The founder found "golden plates" in the ground (that no one else was aloud to look at ofc) which said Jesus other whites came to america but were destroyed by the Indians, not only is this a way of biasing the people against Indians (which the government and media were also doing at the time) but also an way for him to have a easy life, with several wives.

If this religion was founded on such poor basis then how can we know that religions founded thousands of years ago were not the same? And even then how can you know your Religion is the "real" one, It could have been the Greeks, or the Norse, the Romans, the Hindus, the Muslims, and so on...

Here is a list of all known gods, how can we know if any are real? Or is all of them are? And countless more have likely been lost down the ages.

To me Religion can be a good way to live your life, the idea is normaly good, but acctualy taking it all as real, thats something I for one cannot do.

If you showed something like Star Trek to people 800 years ago with modern CGI they would most likely take it as a true vision of the future, then most likely burn you as some sort of devil.

Writing this crazy shit is acctualy a nice break from being senceable

No one will prove anything with this though, Im not about to convince you to forsake a religion you have had for years and no one is about to make be beleive in a diety, but this stuff is fun to write
