I like a lots new UI and new features as dual hot-bar but fps drop not.
Can be related to new UI elements as mini map rendering and buttons. Are they drawable or use png/jpeg(image) background? If is that ,the think that drop the fps, a option that disable mini map and some of UI elements will be nice.

I tested with 3 classes and saw a problem in the barbarian, moving in a battle, if you click a spell in quickbar, the character keeps moving in the direction of the last movement, it is impossible to change the direction until you click another spell in quickbar.
btw, using linux 32 client |

FPS drops are gone for me, log is now usable, nice. Casting via shift + 123x is nice, too, but needs some tweaking: (rather urgent, needs to be done before the update goes live) Shift blocks character movement (and don't tell me something about ghosting, my keyboard has n key rollover :P), and inverts mouse buttons for camera movement. And the combat log still needs to be resizable. Besides that: Everything is great and ready for the live servers, imo!
Additional feature that would be nice to have: Being completely free with key presses for the different quickslots. No urgent problem for me though, with autohotkey one can easily make f1 press shift+1 ;P Another nice feature would be: Quote:
And if you REALLY want to make me squeal: Let the minimap be paintable and make party members see what you scribble there. (Like in guild wars) Thanks for the info! I'm relieved now. :P Sorry for bitching around so fast, but ever since the magnanite weapons I'm kind of nervous regarding new changes in that direction. ^^ Quote:
The latter: Yes, of course. The former: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF..... It's not an urgent problem, you can help yourself easily with autohotkey scripts there.

People here thank about shitf+1..0 keys for secondary spell bar, but it doesn't work for me, actually 1..0 keys didn't work for me too with my keyboard layout (Czech) so I made custom one which is swapping special character keys (+ěščřžýáíé) with numbers previously written by holding shift. That worked. But now shift+1 doesn't work because it sends '+', shift+2 sends 'ě', ... using linux. I played RO on windows few times too and Czech keyboard layout worked without making custom keyboard layout, e.g. game behaved like 'ě' was number 2, 'š' number 3. I can't test it on Windows now, since harddrive where it used to be installed, broke. It would be great if keyboard layout problems on linux were solved.
Don't know if this is gonna help, as you should be getting some kind of scan codes which should be the same for all layouts, without translating them to characters. but standard czech keyboard has those top keys with numbers mapped like this: Code:
No modifier key: | + | ě | š | č | ř | ž | ý | á | í | é | Shift modifier: | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 0 | R.alt modifier: | ! | @ | # | $ | % | ^ | & | * | ( | ) | Code:
No modifier key: | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 0 | Shift modifier: | ! | @ | # | $ | % | ^ | & | * | ( | ) | R.alt modifier: | + | ě | š | č | ř | ž | ý | á | í | é | |

I am unable to drop items in succession from inventory, i.e. one after the other. I have to drop an item, close inventory, reopen inventory, drop another item and repeat.

Im sure im not the only one who would like it and well - UI is tweaked right now, who knows when the chance comes again to get such must-have implemented. @dropping items: noticed that too when dropping with dragging on screen. Dragging on the trash icon worked fine for me though. |
