Bueno baje el Ubuntu 9.04 el cual no me anduvo. Tambien el Kbuntu 9.04, lo instale como cualquier programa dentro de Windows, todo muy sencillo.. pero no me conecta a Internet.. me pone que el cable de Eternet esta conectado pero no puedo navegar y no se como se configura para agregar una conexion nueva.. creia que ni hacia falta. Alguien sabe?

en principio, tenés en orden las cosas:
ip: 192.168.1.2 ruta por defecto: 192.168.1.1 dns: 192.168.1.1 esa información la podés chequear con lo que tengas en win. Pero... pero veo que tenés instalado el networkmanager. A mi esa basura siempre me trajo un problema para cada solución que yo encontraba, había un applet que yo siempre tenía que encender y apagar para que funcione la red, entonces encontré una solución mejor: sudo apt-get --purge remove network-manager El siguiente paso es configurar manualmente la red, tenés que tener algo como esto: /etc/network/interfaces <--- ese archivo se cambia como root Code:
auto eth0 lo iface eth0 inet dhcp

editás como root ese archivo que te dije y te fijás que ponga algo parecido a esas dos líneas. O copiá aquí el contenido de ese archivo y te decimos como dejarlo
