I was just reading the spanish forum and most spanish users seem to agree that the english community should have the opportunity to move there characters to the new server.
But hey, thats what us the users think, I wonder what NGD might do, hopefully they listen to us. |

Oh No You Din't!
I rather like the miscommunications with others, lends a spice to the game and makes me learn new phrases in other languages. Please don't do this unless you migrate chars. I see from the posts that many people will be sorely upset and a lot will probably just leave altogether.

see, i'd miss my buddies who will move to the new servers like Wyatt, but if I move with them, I will miss people who stay, like Inkster or Sithius
this new server is really a pain for me can't we just upgrade the existing one?

The reason is simple: they want to play the game with people that speak their own language... |

They knew they had to handle with a lot of spanish speaking people in the game, everyone gets this in the very first hours of playing already. Now, that there is a new server they cannot or they don't want to handle it anymore? I see no reason for transfering characters in this. Whoever wants a new start should join the new server. Who does not should stay on Ra. Later, after several month when there are already a lot of high lvl ppl in wz I think NGD should offer a premium item to transfer characters, but not right now. But then they should set a gold cap every character can move with. Because the new server is a great chance to see if the "new econemic" ic working or not. Don't disturb this prozess with characters that made their gold in former times.

I'm not against anything, and only expressed my reserves about not allowing Portugal and Spain users to join on the first 2 months on a server that will have European users. I also questioned the "chars" migration possibility impelled by a constructive point made by Vroek some pages ago, a post that made me change my own personal view as expressed on my first post (reply n.º4). What bothers me isn't seeing people leaving Ra with which I like to play or battle (hey, sometimes I leave the game for months and nobody has something to do with it!). What bothers me is seeing the community that invented a new meaning for the "holas" word abandoning Ra advocating a "language barrier" that has never been an issue before... But have fun wherever you play, it's the game's objective. P.S. I might add, the only problem on Ra is: it isn't "international" enough!
