On my Marksman, the problem only appears as I get close to water: screenshot 2009-12-03 13_26_49.jpg screenshot 2009-12-03 13_27_05.jpg However if I change the settings from Very high to High, I get weird sight range issues: screenshot 2009-12-03 13_41_53.jpg Which seems to be the same bug, only manifesting itself differently. Repeat system information: Athlon 64 X2 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM ATI Radeon 2600 Pro 256MB (PCI-E) ATI Catalyst 9.11 (fglrx 8.67.4) Running Debian Squeeze I hope that this is fixed as it completely ruins the feel of the game when it happens. Other than that, the new engine is absolutely beautiful and stunning and I can't wait for it to be completed. Also, I hope that NGD eventually implements GL_RGB4 texture compression so that those of us without commercial or patented texture compressions such as S3TC in our drivers can run the game without the graphics being messed up. It still gives you twice the video memory. Thank you for all of your hard work, and good luck.

terrain only renders on a fresh install for me.
Ok, very strange problem. I now only get one run of the client before the terrain will stop rendering. I am forced to reinstall the client at that point. It doesn't matter if I crash or leave the software, when I come back, I'm floating in blackness watching objects move around in blackness.

In the most recent update, the sky, ground and sea have reappeared, but the FPS has dropped down to its usual rate of anything between 10-20 when in Skolheim Village. I think we know whats causing my computer to lag now but this is ground without effects, lighting and etc, so god knows what it will be like with maximum effects.

I found out one big problem -> Fighting in fort's tower is not possible, everything is too shiny, add the problem with selecting enemy and it really horror to fight there...
p.s. I had magic barrier on me. When it auto-zooms close to your character due to lack of space inside the tower you dont see anything
