Yeah I think you are right there. Having gone and hunted with the German Guardians, I can see how well coordinated they were. Every move is well thought out. They are really like a SWAT team when they are in their top form.

And I love hanging around them in mumble. They are a funny bunch and it is always a pleasure to be with them.

I know, I tried a wayback machine again to find an archive telling about this. but couldn't find it. Maybe Valorius insulted the service providers admins' cause he thought it could give him more space and them got banned

Ill never figure out the need for this type of thread. Those who do a good job usually know it. Even though my nick has scarcely been dropped (and only by clanmates...im pretty sure i healed more ppl than that =) ) I know that im not that bad a player, as well as I know in which "company" i have to pay more attention.

Reading the conjurer lists it feels that they are colored a lot more by personal sympathy then by actual talent in game - and i say so including every instance i was mentioned (werent that many anyways). I guess this is because most conjurers scarcely kill anyone so they arent feared & their effectivity is largely judged by the number of deaths someone died - which ignores who actually prevented those deaths.

If you want to benefit from just putting names on a list pls at least take the time to describe *why* each name is on it & maybe limit it to a few names.

I would partially agree. Most enemies will probably not notice the names of good conjurers, because like you said, you won't see much direct evidence of them in your combat log. Sure, there will be the occasional Tremor or Ivy, but they'll rarely see "You were defeated by <a conjurer's name>" in their log. However your teammates will soon figure out if you're a good conjurer or not, rather than your enemies, because they will notice the times when you saved their butts at the last moment... or the times when you failed to heal them or give them mana.

After I die, I usually take note of who and what killed me in the logs, particularly after a very interesting battle. It's usually a barbarian, marksman or warlock that I see listed as my killer, though likely there was a lot of support provided to them by their teammates that I never saw.
