But what i know.

if you go under low profile your buffs disappear which means no fast getaway. Your pet will be easily killed because you can't protect it.
head of the pack gets improved, so it's an improvement.
And yeah vital surrender is useless

So vital surrender is not improvement but pet which will not attack and will not follow you while you escape is improvement? Sure.
BTW yesterday supportive conj killed my orc when marks wash chasing me. In situations like those i prefer old low profile. My pet will die anyway so it can die dealing dmg.

I decided to check through the change-logs to see what improvements and nerfs have happened since I started July 2007 for the hunter class and the conjurer class. I included spells for archers and mages that had an effect on the hunter or conjurer sub-class. I discovered the following:

I think your overall point is that hunters are the 'favoured' class.

But a lot of the changes to hunters were brought about because they were badly needed.

There was a time when they were considered the weakest class by many.

For a long time they had faulty spells and pets didn't work properly, or at all.

People were dropping the class in favour of others that weren't so broken.

I remember a time when a lot of hunters stopped playing because of these reasons.

It sounds like there are many more changes to come - but in the direction of making hunters more useful in war.

Maybe this will make them become less hated...
