That would create major lag on the first days of the server, for the last time, I don't think NGD is in the state to move characters, its too much work to move every single character, and ALL of their items, you have to think about the items. Thats why I stand saying migration will most likely not be possible.

NGD usually already does this kind of thing, if you remeber when Muspell and Nilfhelm were started, all new characters in week 1 recieved 500 Xymerin and +50% more Xymerin from purchases. So expect somthing like this on the new server tommorow.

I don't think the server is as much to get old players to leave RA as it is to allow an environment for NEW players to come and stay, thereby increasing customer base. NGD prolly has the #(stats) of how many ppl stopped playing due to "lack of english environment" and Players = $$$$

noooo i assume your looking forwards to repeating 100s of hours of mind numbing grinding then? In my eyes dominant player change all the time with new players hitting 50 and old ones leaving (stooge anyone?) and unless you plan to pay for master scrolls and 200% boost the dominant players will be the premium users not poor old sods who cant get it... (me)

Really nice news! Less lag, more chatting in realm chat in english, a new fresh start knowing mechanisms and people

I hope old player's characters will remain on ra, so that from time to time we can return there and see what's going on. But on new server I'll strongly prefer a fresh start for all...

I think I may return to play in this way ^^

I only hope that now english players will not be treated like germans on RA. Many spanish players offend them for playing on international server and using german on general chat.

well, german players are treatened in special way by NGD too....they don't belong to the international community at all from the point of view of NGD, regardless on which server they are playing. That's why they are not allowed to use the international community forum.

Any chance of enabling migration as a premium at a later time? I'm only asking because eventually the english community on Ra will shrink away, eventually, at which point the new english server will be populated already, and enabling premium migration will only generate more income. If people haven't switched over and restarted by the time the english community shrinks away, they'll quit. Premium migration will encourage most to stay and provide further income.
