(^He ain't lying!) My 1st RO toon almost 5 years back was a female icon. No one even bothered to ask if I was a male or female for several months .... they all just assumed I guess. Guys were friendlier & a certain gal was all jelly & vindictive. I truly had no ulterior motive for doing so, but yes, 'being female' definitely got me more positive attention, help, advice & respectful treatment ... oh & more "free gear" too.
