Those colours look quite nice
But I've got less problems in safe mode. (+open gl) (Less doesn't mean no at all, second screen) My dwarf's beard is displayed almost correctly in open gl + safe mode, now his hair is too dark. (third screen) Direct 3d safe mode isn't really a safe mode Fourth screen safe mode, fifth shader 4.0. intel core 2 6420 2.13ghz, geforce 8600 gts, 2gb ram, windows xp. |

Switching between regnum and other windows also causes this problem:

I noticed the slower character movement goes along with CPU drop. (The less %, the slower is the character) |

good and bad
I played in amon and horus alitlle the new tech test ro.It was verry smoth and i play at 1680 resolution. Some graphic glitches but mostly the graphic is great .The lights are kind of shiny tho it need to be cool down a bit i think.
There is a thing that make no sense. The maximum distance you can view its a great improvement to the whole game but it make no sense at all in this state as it is now.I can see far as like 1 km ,trees water and all the nature elements rocks and things but mobs and other characters i can see only from 30-50m.This is unacceptable (like an unfinished cartoon picture) and it look very weird to not see movement after like 50m distance and only clean nature.Make a setting that will let you see mobs and players in the far distance too or the improvement for distance is in vain. I run a xp windows : quad core 2800+ processor ,4 giga ram ,ati radeon 2900 xt and 300 giga ram. PS: Ngd make a really great work and as an old mmo player i think this game soon will be a big hit with this new graphic but some changes are in need anyway Last edited by Razvan87; 11-18-2009 at 03:47 PM. |

Just a small addition to this. Even though I couldn't get through the door, I could target people on the inside and attack them from range. Specs : Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit Core 2 Duo 2.93 MHZ Nvidia 9800GT

Intel Core2 Quad Q9000 2.00Ghz / 4Gb 1066Mhz DDR3 / nVidia GeForce 9600 GT 1Gb / Kubuntu 9.04
Only noticeable thing was the shadows which killed my fps no matter the settings. Otherwise the game run pretty much the same fps as before and looked pretty much the same without the shadows as earlier.

specs: AMD Athlon DualCore Processor 4050e 2.11 Ghz
2.00 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT, all new drivers Everything works fine, no problems with startup, I am very happy to be able to access new engine on official servers, it all looks so professional! except for the hardcore bloom: wtf? I can't see my character It's true, the character reacts slower, as my whole PC somehow. Basically, everything runs very slow. I enabled all graphic options on the highest possible way, using OpenGL. I also have one question. Where did the atmosphere go? There's no "fog" at the horizont. Everything is very clear and sharp and that disturbs me. Is there an option to turn it on? Also the terrain view max distance is very low for me :S just a circle around my character. So in overall, I want to play on highest graphic options (being able to play games like Assassin's Creed on max graphics makes me sure my PC can deal with your new engine), but it really slows me down. So I switched to Direct3D with medium graphics (still shader 4.0), everything works faster, but then everything is blue ;/ (I know it's night, but it was too on previous options) and no bloom effect is visible (I changed mostly texture levels) BUT NOW! the thing is - I run. I run and I see everywhere shadows moving all over the ground. http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/6...9111816161.jpg http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/6...9111816161.jpg http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/9...9111816162.jpg http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3...9111816153.jpg http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/2...9111816150.jpg http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/9...9111816151.jpg So apart from those weird things, everything seems to be fine at the moment ;]

Specs : Intel Core 2 Duo E8400@3.00GHz ; ATI Radeon HD4890 1Gb ; RAM 2Gb, WinXP Home edition SP3.
All tests made in 1680x1050x32, full screen, Shader model 4.0, all graphical options maxed (options at the server window and ingame options), Amun server. with Direct3D : Can't see NGD's animation at startup, after having chosen the server (black screen, just sound), everything is fine after that. Tremendous light bloom at the character selection window, some position defaults (staff 15cm from the hand, nothing really bad). Once online, movements are smooth, really fluid. All I can see is a strange light bloom around my char while I move and an annoying aliasing effect, especially with shadows. Strange "lines" are visible in shadows. No other problem noticed so far. with OpenGL : Ugly graphic artifacts instead of NGD's startup video, sound still fine. Same light bloom at the character window, same position bug. Online, movements are terribly slowed and laggy, fonts aren't properly shown, the strange light aura is still visible (barely in the screenshot, but it's there, I promise).
