This happens to me sometimes too but only in small fights with only low lvl conjus (or warjurers of any lvl). In bigger fights there's often somekind of DI chain running. I seldom suffer from lack of DI at hunts since im usually in the same hunting party as Kathris.
There's a bit of a priority list at fort wars, usually lvl 50 conjus will get DI first and warjurers is at the bottom of that list. The summons have a way of killing allies just because of their size (try targeting anyone when a Zarkit is standing near him).

This brings up a question I have.. Which is more important.. Using DI on a conjur or healing warriors that are being attacked?
I do distribute DI, when I think of it.. and everyone is healed up.. but I don't put DI on a 1st priority of mine. Without tanks in the front, conjurs will die. Is this wrong, should I put DI first? |

Your main healing spell (Heal Ally) has a cooldown of 10s. That gives you plenty of time to cast other spells.

>.< I also use regen ally, so Im back and forth between, mana communion, heal ally, regen ally.. and making sure greater healing is going
like I said, I occasionally use DI just when I have nothing else to cast :P Maybe im doing it wrong lol |

Other healers and warriors who are making a charge should be your priority... |

I assess the situation when using DI, I will make sure, if there is an extra support conj, that i cast DI on them 1st, then next comes any classes which may seem to need it, i.e. warrior rushing enemies, archer getting into range to attack, mainly shortbow, and usually warlocks will be my last priority.
As I mentioned though, it depends on the situation |

I'd say both are really import:
As a warlock, I really enjoy being DI before casting Terror. As a barbarian, I like getting some heals before I can return from a rush because after rushing I will have lots of people that tries to kill me. DI can be useful when madness is in cooldown. As a hunter I don't feel DI is really needed for me. Heals from time to time are welcome
