As brilliant as DAOC was 10 years ago, its currently outdated and too clunky to be enjoyed. However the release of Camelot Unchained which is in a way the sequel to DAOC could potentially be the game that dominates the RvR genre in the future.

About GW2. Quite honestly, everything that CoR has, GW2 does better. RvR is just one of the many things you can do. So if you're willing to pay for the box (which is around like $50?) I would recommend you look that up. Type "WvW" into youtube and enjoy.

Is Regnum Online worth it?
Simple answer is 'Yes'. Its a free game after all, what have you got to lose? It cant compare to the other big names in this genre but it has alota potential. The problem is that the mmorpg world is progressing rather fast whereas NGD is really developing this game at a snails pace.
