Matt, your response on why knights should go offensive...Most of knights dropped Shield tree, we dont block anymore, i block just as well with a lvl 1 precise block. Im not gonna max out shields, just to put up an aura, i can use Vanguard's aura.

Today Valour and I fought several Syrtis knights today.

Each and everyone had SC 5 and Aoo 5.

The only spells I was hit with were SC, Charge, lvl 1 fient and Disable limb.

Epic knight skills.

P.s. 800+ dmg SC's from knights ftw!

That was just one of the fights.

Pretty much effective if it gets your opponent killed... and they used 2 spells more they didn't needed but sometimes we have to deal some real damage or people won't respect us... having knights last on "priorities list" always has pissed me off...

tell that to the marks who all have cookie cutter builds

same old

death sentence 5
serpent bite 5
arcana strike 5

never gonna get old, everyone has had your build, used your build. etc etc.

all barbs run a round with onsl 5, beserk 5 and tfb 5

all marks spam ds 5 and arcana strike 5

all hunters run around with sotw and camo 5

all locks use sultars 5 and soulkeeper 5

yeah im not being serious but..who cares what they use, if you got killed by it, then thats your fault. was no different than the spear tree, how can you not expect people to move from it now that one of the primary tier 2 skills (ripost) was nerfed for a addit. ten seconds? as well as our immobilize weap dmg removed and duration reduced.

of COURSE people will switch to another tree till ngd turns the nerf dial down a bit on spears.

then youll be back to complaining bout 800 dmg riposts again

Actually I know several barbs who never point any points on berserk at all. I personally rarely have TfB skilled above level 3.

As far as maxxing out slashing goes, on a serious note I think that most of those who do it actually want Typhoon. And they've started levelling the personal hit spells because warrior areas kinda suck now.

Next time someone gets hit with an 800 SC from a knight can you please post a screenshot btw? I'm not convinced it's possible.

@Anpu: Yes. High level warrior weapons have obscenely variable damage. More so for barbs than knights - I've actually had a 1000 SC(4) followed by a 1400 Crit before now.

I had a 1k one some days ago... true, he was an unbuffed mage.
