Do you think that makes up for their poor survivability rate? Yes they hit hard, but that's all they've got. And that's mostly on mages. An archer can easily get away from me, even at a fort when I'm within range. So no, it's not necessarily whack, whack, dead. A conjurer will just cast sanct or SS. The only class that has a death assurance is warlock, if I catch them.
