it does depend on the realm you're in.. coz I could tell you a lot of great friendly clans in alsius
but my info about the other 2 realms is sadly non existend

best way to find a clan is by asking around in realm chat, or make friends and join theirs

Nah, I haven't even gone beyond the realm wall yet, I'm certainly not fighting some kind of boss.

My character is from Syrtis, so I guess I'll ask in the realm chat. Thanks for the advice.
I've been asked to join clans multiple times already but it was always random people I happened to encounter while crossing paths from one city to the other.
I mean, not even a 'hi'? That's like approaching a stranger on the street and silently thrusting a note with your address on it into their hands.
Kind of creepy.

mm well usually once you get around lvl30ish+ and participate in a few battles, and people get to know ur a regular player, sooner or later you get invited to a guild.

it's a bit like a kindergarten playground and most players like to chat and make friends (mainly cos sooner or later, everyone knows they will need help fending off the enemy "bullies").

I'll tell you more: I was actually choosing between Syrtis and Alsius and had actually chosen Alsius but then decided to do the opposite of what I wanted to do.

Good news Phers I remembered the official website has a clan ranking system. here it is set up for Syrtis on Haven server for the last week (maybe an all time rank is more useful) :-

Personally, I'm not up to date with the guild situation in Syrtis. Forsaken for a long time has been one of the largest clans, but from what I hear it could have fallen into disuse during the last political surges (yea we have those). Invictus could be a long lasting clan. Tempus Abaddon ranked 22 is a very well known "pro" (top fighting) guild. Reclamation and Inquisition are very well known pro guilds too. Vaniteuses used to be a clan name but now it has passed into general use as being some of the most experienced players.

You're in Syrtis they are the dominant realm in war right now but relatively speaking in terms of personality of realm, they may be the most prideful realm. So players may not be quite as friendly in other realms, but that's part of their pride.

Syrtis is the realm with the greatest elfin sunny/grass-green beauty. Really beautiful female elves. I'm actually quite impressed by the dev's artwork. Personally, I like journeying to other realms and admiring their beauty too. It's nice to have 3 such distinct realms in one small game.

Yes, I'd like to go and see the other realms, too, but something tells me I'd end up dead in no time.
And to think I just got to lvl 30 and one my my current quests asks me to go and kill 5 people from Alsius. It seems a little like a suicide mission :'D
