I like the look of this , I don't think it's the same in alsius (and dunno about ignis) but the place you create your character looks pretty similar to the place you first spawn in the game, was last there when it was on amun

The alsius screen is the best, imo. You can see the port where the ship you're traveling with will arrive

Yes, they're all at the place where you first spawn, except ignis you're outside that structure (outside that door you can see on char. creation screen); and for alsius the first screen is the ship bringing you to the docks where you spawn.

I don't believe there's anywhere in Ignis looks quite like that (I mean, there's the lookout over the volcanic zone, but it's more sort of above the lava falls). Certainly there's no lava in the initiation zone (there is, however, quicksand... which is impossible to get to).

Looks good though... *wonders if the UI borders are a glimpse of a full overhaul*

I think it's intended to be the inside of the building that you start in front of (which you can't go inside). But you're right, there's no visible area like this in game.
