Thus you can dance around mages/archers kitting/gliding them until they die. Now that dual shot is 1 second and ensnare .5 I had a knight hide behind a tree to regain his life 100% while calling backup near pb. No matter what I did to get to him he avoided me 100% This could not happen when dual shot was instant. (Interesting) So I used the same technique on a marksman that wanted to kill me.... I let him waste all his mana... Then I hid behind a tree running in circles to prevent attacks and killed him. In the past the marksman would have won due to all the instant cast's they had vs a hunter. (Interesting) Warriors.... once a warrior is on you there is no way to get him off you. They can run and attack, seems like they can run and cast attack skills. If you try to turn and fire the delay prevents your normal attack from ever hitting the target. The only thing you can do is back into a wall and cast skills. If there is no wall you will have a nice and honorable death by flogging. Repetition shot cast time of 3 seconds is way too long since the attack is close range cone area. If the enemy is not afk then they will easily side step you or cast another spell to cancel your casting beetle/silence/dizzy/fist/ambush/kick/jawbreaker/etc... The animation lets them know you are about to do something major. The long bow area skill is fine with a long casting time because its at range and you are far from harms way... Sure the long bow area is weak, but it's more reliable than the shortbow area now. |

Another annoyance is missing precast, spells(esp buffs) should be logged while gcd is running and be cast right after. |

Well i dont understand why they changed it to 1s anyway. I dont even use Dual
shot anymore on my hunter. When i have the energy im gonna reset my skills and replace the points i have in Dual shot in to passive dex instead. To make the dual shot usefull again, it should be 0.5s or instant. Only dmg skill i use atm is ensnare, deacent dmg and makes it easier for me to stay out off the warriors reach

I skilled long bow and now I'm using:
ensnare + normal + shield pierce + normal + break apart I can do this faster than similar attacks with dual shot. Now that damage is nerf'd shield pierce (give it is a constant damage) usually produces similar damage as a lvl 4 ensnare does. Problem is...once a person is buff'd shield pierce usefulness kinda goes away. However, it will still produce the same damage as your normal would - thus its like being able to fire two quick normals then fire off another spell again.

I saw a marksman the other day who was hitting in 3 hits before I hit in 1. (I have +31% attack speed w. med axe O_o)
I'm guessing he was using a fast SB, combined with Hawks Gaze and some other attack speed bonuses. The point is anyway, it was deadlier then any long or short bow I'd ever seen in my life. I wish I'd taken a picture of the log, was pretty amazing. |

Earlier I killed two hunters (about lvl 47+ cause they had clops) and when it was over I had more than half my life left. How....simply put - range and pet. By the time they even got close enough one was already dead.
Long bow has it's place now - that's for sure.
