thanks much everyone. Ill visit amsterdam tomorrow. I really love it so far (been mostly around Katvijk) will for sure come here again with some friends instead of family to see what the nights have to offer

Oups yes, should be a 'w'. Indeed the beach is really nice. Also the surroundings. Oh and you have the biggest ESA/ESTEC test/development complex very close there. Quite impressive.

You have to be careful in Amsterdam, there are a lot thieves. A friend of mine had to run about one kilometer through the city after a guy to get his money back.
