One thing I really hate about Conjurers with Zarkits is that the Zarkits are too big. They block your allies. If the Zarkit is beside a bunch of Allies who need heals, it is incredibly hard to target the Allies instead of the Zarkit. This is another reason why I don't bother Healing Warjurers too, because often their Zarkits will block their Master, making it difficult for me to target them, lol. Ah well... I wish I had Dispel again (can't afford it right now) XD
Kiirani, Ivy isn't all that important, especially for lower levels. It's just nice though cause it only costs lvl 9 in Mental and you don't need Power Points for them. Thing is, you should almost never push up on the enemy during a Fort War to cast any sort of Offensive spell, whether it be Ivy or Energy Borrow, especially if you're a low level Conjurer. You'll instantly become a prime target because the range of the Spells are only 25 when Archers can have 30+. Especially for lower levels, you will take way too much damage and the Conjurers supporting you will waste Heals (if Heals are casted). Pushing up for an Ivy also puts you at risk in getting caught in Sultars and the like. At low levels (below 30), 2x Sultars (plus other Area damage) is enough to kill you, even with lvl 3 Energy Barrier. It's just not worth it. However, if the enemy is making a charge / push, then Ivy is really really useful, along with Mana Borrow, Mana Burn, and Beetle. Anything to help prevent the enemy from doing whatever they want to our Allies. Last edited by undefined; 10-22-2007 at 11:49 PM. |

Oh no, when I say "invest later", I mean around 40 or so when I actually have 9 points to spare and have a clue what I'm doing XD

Oh, at lvl 37, my Conjurer has 19 Life, 15 Staff, 15 Mana Control, and 9 Mental. This build has been working out well for me in Fort Wars, Hunts, and in 2v2 Duel XD It's decent for lvling if you have a big group. Lvl 4 Energy Barrier and Mana Borrow (for defense) help a LOT.

see, this is where my "human sheild" tactic comes in handy.
1. play a conjuror (like me!) 2. remember, there is no shame in a human sheild. 3. use those heals and mana to keep your sheilds healthy, remember, the more pwnage they can take, the more of your ass they are saving! 4. never forget, there is no shame in running away, screaming like a little girl. 5. never, ever, ever, run *towards* the enemy. away is fine, but never toward. oh, and dont worry about the "where to" part of running, just make sure you keep running "away", you'll find our where you are running to when you get there. conj's for teh winnar! |
