could be because the pictures were posted in 2006, the server was smaller and alot of the players in the pictures seemed to be low levels so im guessing NGD made the epic bosses easier to not make it impossible.

Smaller would be a bit of an understatement... 2006 was early beta, RA was about a tenth the size of Horus.

Epic bosses also didn't exist back then, only dragons, who had no spells, did 3.5K of damage per hit and gave 10,000 XP and 100,000 gold per player per kill, although no fancy drops like we have now. Those came in the overhaul in 2008.

Ironically, killing bosses was more rewarding back then. At least you got something 100% of the time.

(BTW, all of the people in the picture are lv40+, there was just no armors or weapons above the mid-30s back then.)

Iirc the dragons were made quite a bit stronger a year or so ago.

It used to be enjoyable.. Not just some mindless aura / damage spam for drops.
